Cookie Policy
Short version: this site sets no cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.
We set no cookies
Not analytics, not advertising, not preference cookies. The pages are static HTML with one stylesheet; there is no tag manager and no third-party script that could set one behind our back. You can check this yourself in your browser’s developer tools in about ten seconds, and we would rather you did than take our word for it.
What the server does record
Serving a page leaves an entry in the web server’s log: your IP address, the time, the page requested, the response code and your browser’s user-agent string. This is not a cookie — it is how HTTP works, and it is the same for every site you visit. What we do with an enquiry itself is in the privacy policy. We keep those logs for 14 days to spot faults and abuse, and we do not build a profile from them or join them to your enquiry.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in keeping the site up and secure.
If this ever changes
| If we added | Cookie type | What you would see |
|---|---|---|
| Web analytics | Statistics — consent required | A consent request before any analytics cookie is set, with a real “decline” that is as easy to press as “accept”. Declining would not change what you can read here. |
| An enquiry form with spam protection | Strictly necessary | A session cookie while you fill the form in. No consent needed, but it would be listed on this page. |
| Embedded video | Marketing — consent required | A placeholder that loads nothing until you click it. |
None of these are in place today. This table exists so that if one appears, you can see we told you in advance what it would look like.
Blocking things anyway
Nothing on this site needs a cookie to work, so you can block them site-wide and every page, table and diagram will still render. Whether that is true elsewhere is a good test to run on any supplier you are comparing us with.
